The Students’ Council
The NCM Students’ Council is ever so proud of this newsletter as it is the first
of its kind to be published in Nepal College of Management. This is the
newsletter of the student, for the student and we hope that this will be very
much beneficial to all of us as it is bound to aid in our endeavors to explore
our ideas and hone our creativity skills furthermore. The key objectives of the
Council are:
1) To elevate academic, professional and individual development of students by
engaging them in various activities relating to business, sports, and customs of
our society.
2) To enhance the impression of Nepal College of Management by featuring its
contribution to the world of business and to the overall development of our
country.
3) To enrich the students with the skills of effective leadership and efficient
management that eventually leads to the birth of “real” managers in the days to
come.
4) To enable the students to carry out independent enquiry in business,
management and their underlying disciplines, within the broader social and
economic context in which business operates.
Since its establishment, NCM Students’ Council has performed various activities.
At NCM, you get innovative program content and teaching methodologies combined
with state-of-the-art research and learning resources to equip you for
tomorrow’s economy. The Students’ Council and its several clubs motivate most of
you to get involved in various extra curricular activities - from health camps
to blood donations, from sports to publications and, many more. In today’s
immensely competitive world, it is imperative that you possess leadership,
organizing and management skills if you want to stand out from the crowd. Life
within the premises of the college is important. However, you should also look
out to establishing social and communal skills, as they are extremely important
in the world of business and management. The NCM Students’ Council tries its
level best to prepare the students in their endeavors to create social
connections so that they can succeed in this increasingly globalize world and
make a name for themselves, and ultimately lead to the development of Nepal.
Finally Students’ Council would like to thank the college management, faculty
members and all the students who have helped in publishing the first issue of
this newsletter.
