Programme Offered
Since its inception, the College has been successfully conducting the Kathmandu University's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Programme, and till date many aspiring business executives have graduated with excellent scores from NCM. Currently there are four batches of students pursuing their BBA courses at different levels.
In year 2010 NCM started new program - Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism Management (BHTM)- a practical oriented and industry relevant study program of high disciplinary rigor that equips students with substantial grounding in professional knowledge and competencies in management and hospitality disciplines.
Significance of KU BBA and BHTM programme
Since 1993, Kathmandu University has promoted academic programs leading to the much acclaimed MBA qualifications, and in the subsequent years following 1997 granted affiliation to three renowned colleges to run BBA programs. The need for internationally recognized and accredited qualifications has continued to grow rapidly, as increasing number of students are actively seeking for admission in renowned Universities/Colleges located overseas in order to pursue higher studies, or embark on a quest for better career prospects abroad. With the objective of meeting the more specific demands of such students, Nepal College of Management in affiliation with the Kathmandu University, has committed itself to deliver the internationally transferable BBA qualifications.
The main purpose of the BHTM program is to develop competent, committed and succeed in hospitality and tourism management career and manage this service business in a professional way while contributing to the development of the hospitality and tourism industry in Nepal and beyond.
