Kathmandu University
Kathmandu University is a well recognized name for higher studies in Nepal. Established by an Act of Parliament in November 1991, the university is an autonomous, not-for-profit, self funding public institution created through private initiatives.
Dedicated to maintain high standards of academic excellence, the university offers several bachelor and master level programmes through its six schools:
- School of Sciences
- School of Education
- School of Engineering
- School of Medical Sciences
- School of Arts
- School of Management
With the support of more than 150 Faculty and equal number of Staff, the university currently meets the academic and research needs of more than 1800 students in its Dhulikhel Campus.
