Internal evaluation
As the success of an Academic Program depends entirely on its effective implementation and efficient control, the college undertakes continuous evaluation of its students on the basis of not only their progress and performances in the regular Unit Tests, Internal Examinations, Assignments, Practical Demonstrations (Group Discussions, Presentations, etc.), but other traits like Punctuality, Obedience, Cleanliness, Cooperation, Attitude and Regularity. As each of these is considered an integral component of the evaluation process, the students are required to participate in all the activities prescribed by the college, besides maintaining a high standard of discipline and decorum during the entire duration of their Academic Sessions

Evaluation system of KU
Kathmandu University has specified the following Norms and Grading System for its BBA level Examinations.

  • A student must obtain a minimum numerical score of '2' or an acceptable Letter Grade of 'D' in each subject undertaken in order to be declared passed.
  • The final grades awarded by Kathmandu University will comprise of both the scores obtained in the in-semester tests and the end-semester terminal examination.
The letter grades, their equivalent grade points and ratings, awarded at the end of each semester are as follows:

The divisions offered upon successful completion of the Academic Program are:

Cumulative Grade Point Average Division
3.5 to 4.0 Distinction
3.0 to 3.49 First
2.0 to 2.99 Second
Below 2.0 Fail
   

In order to graduate the BBA program, a student must meet the following requirements:

  • must have successfully completed 120 credit hours as prescribed by the program with a minimum passing grade in all courses.
  • must have earned a minimum aggregate CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 2.0 or better.
  • must have completed the Internship.
  • must have completed the BBA program within seven years from the time of her/ his admission/registration.
