Eligibility

Admission to BBA level is offered to a limited number of qualified candidates, who must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by Kathmandu University and laid down herein:
  • Intermediate or Higher Secondary Examination (of twelve years' formal education in any stream: Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering or Technology), passed with a minimum aggregate score of 50 % or above from a recognized board/university.
  • GCE 'A' Level passed with a minimum GPA of 'B' or above.


Admission Procedure

Must fill up Application Blank available from KUSOM for KUUMAT (Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test)

  1. Appear and qualify KUUMAT
  2. On receipt of the duly filled up Application Form along with the necessary enclosures consisting of
    • KUUMAT passed certificate
    • Transfer / Character Certificate issued by the School/Institution/College attended.
    • Transcript of School Leaving Certificate S. Higher Secondary Examination.
    • Citizenship Card
    • Two recent passport sized photograph.
    • Certificate (if any) of Merit / Achievement.

NCM will conduct a group discussion and a personal interview along with their parents/guardians prior to the final selection. The candidates will be required to produce their original testimonials (certificates &. transcripts) during the interview.

Based on the outcome of these procedures, NCM will eventually determine the eligibility of the applicants, who will be duly notified. NCM reserves the right to accept or deny admission to any candidate without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The admission procedure will begin after KUUMAT result (tentatively after July 13, 2010.)

Academic calendar
NCM will strictly adhere to the Academic Calendar as prescribed by Kathmandu University, but under unexpected situations, NCM may carry out certain modifications in the existing calendar or reschedule it to match its Academic/Non Academic activities. As per Kathmandu University the Tentative Academic Calendar for the year 2009 - 2010 is as follows:

Fall Semester: First Week of August 2010 to Mid January 2011
Spring Semester: Mid February 2011 to Mid June 2011

The BBA Classes are conducted throughout the weekdays as per the under mentioned schedule:
Weekdays Sunday - Friday
Classs Session 07:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
